[Full-time] Visualization/Multimedia artist at Creative Design Resolutions

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Visualization / Multimedia artist to join our small but highly regarded aesthetic design company. We create some of the largest and most remarkable highway infrastructure and public art projects across the country. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and experience with architectural 3d visualizations and animations, photo editing and manipulating, video editing and compositing.

Required skills:

-Critical eye on details and creativity
~~Proficient in Photoshop~~ compositing, image editing, and manipulation
~~Proficient in 3ds Max~~ modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering
~~Experience with After Effects~~ compositing and editing
-Accurately read technical documentation (blueprints in PDF and CAD format)-basic knowledge in AutoCAD is desired.

Industrial design background would be a great plus but is not required. Ability to work with PC and MAC platforms is also desired.

For this position you will have the opportunity to create designs for highway infrastructure and public art projects, as well as in-house marketing materials. Your typical projects will include 3D computer models of bridges and environments, fly-throughs, architectural renderings and animations for short DVD presentations. Marketing tasks, including brochures and advertisements, will also be assigned. You will also coordinate with clients and freelancers, including our web developer and AutoCAD technician.

Additional information:

-This is a full-time position; no freelance artists will be considered
-Minimum 1 year experience is required
-This position is located in the D.C. Metro area (Brentwood, Maryland)
-Local candidates preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a long-term basis
-Annual salary is commensurate with experience.
-Our company does not currently offer health insurance benefits.
