“Benoy is seeking a Junior Architectural Visualiser to fill a permanent position in our Newark office (UK). This opportunity is a junior position and as such the ideal candidate will be seeking to development their skills with support from other team members.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with project teams in the creation of high-quality architectural Visuals but also concept and Design & Development images.
Develop a standard style for both photorealistic and stylised imagery for implementation on all projects
Work within the Visualisation Unit in the development of styles, scripts and shared resources, and as a group on larger projects

Requirements:
All candidates must have excellent verbal and written English skills and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, Digital Animation, Product Design or Graphic Design preferred
1+ years’ experience
An excellent eye for art, composition, lighting, photography and imagery
Knowledge of modelling, rendering and animating in 3DS Max & Vray – Autodesk CAD Architecture 2012 3D is also preferred
Effectively manage rendering times by keeping composites as streamlined as possible
Excellent Photoshop skills and use with non-destructive layering
Ability to develop workflow from CAD to modelling to rendering to final output
Some experience reading & understanding architectural sketches and CAD documents and turning them into 3D models and images
Experience with animation post-processing software such as After Effects preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and within a team to meet tight deadlines, with the understanding that the final output is not always polished but to the persons best ability within the tight deadlines
Strong communication skills, time management, and self-driven work ethic

We currently have an exciting opportunity to add to our team of talented 3D artists and illustrators. We have openings for 2-3 mid and senior level 3D modellers and artists. If you think you have the ability to impress us with your work and would like the chance to join this fast growing studio then please drop us a line or email us with examples of your work to the addresses below.

To join our team you will have proven ability in producing photorealistic 3D illustrations of architectural interiors, exteriors, products, and transport images. You will possess the necessary ability to take a raw render and post produce the illustration to create a high resolution, balanced photo real image. You will instinctively know what to change on the image and how to use Photoshop to achieve the results you want.

You will also possess the knowledge needed to create highly detailed 3D models of buildings, interior room spaces, furniture and other amorphous shaped objects. You will be able to assess the level of detail required for your modelling and will know how to keep the files as efficient as possible. You will know how to polymodel efficiently and also be able to model, when required, softer shaped objects like toilets, sinks, settees etc.

You will have a thorough understanding of 3D Studio Max and Mental Ray/Vray. You will be able to set up scene lighting to meet the required mood whether for exterior or interior scenes. You will possess some commercial experience in producing animations, included in that would be the ability to keep frame render times to a minimum, animating camera’s and producing efficient realistic painted textures.

You will be expected to interpret a material choice and be able to produce a highly convincing texture using Photoshop which would consist of diffuse, secular and bump/normal maps.

Other skills which you may have but are not essential would be in using zbrush to create highly detailed natural shape objects. You may also be able to use Adobe Illustrator or Indesign to create 2D illustrations and graphic design layouts for brochures and leaflets. You may even be able to post produce movie files using after effects or premier.
